formation.org.au is a platform for dialogue, ideas, creativity, honesty, vulnerability, professional and personal growth and nourishment.
We are curious and creative. Generous and courageous.

This association is a multi-sector, multi-ministry community of people and organisations in the church in Australia. In the spirit of synodality, we use this platform to communicate with one another, to connect, learn and collaborate on the work of formation.

Membership in this association invites you into a network of people who want to work together for the future of formation, to increase and deepen their professional expertise, and to be nourished in order to better nourish others. By joining, you will find strength in a community of faith-filled, passionate formators, who live and lead mission every day.

Formation for Mission.


We acknowledge the First Nations peoples of this place now called Australia, the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which we reside, work, travel and meet. We pay our respect to Aboriginal elders past, present, and emerging as they hold, teach and care for story, country and culture, where sovereignty was never ceded. We acknowledge that “country” was and always will be integral to the spiritual and cultural identity of the First Nations peoples.
